Whether you're just getting started or you're a seasoned reseller, we’re here to make buying wholesale vintage as seamless and rewarding as possible. Below are answers to our most common questions. 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We primarily offer Grade A vintage clothing—items in excellent to near-new condition, with only minor flaws like light staining or general wear. Our mixes will also include a small percentage of Grade B pieces, which could feature things like small holes, distressing, or light cracking in graphics. All pieces are inspected for resellable quality.

To keep prices low and preserve garment integrity, we do not launder our clothing before shipping. Vintage pieces may have signs of age, but we do our best to remove anything unsellable before it leaves our warehouse.

  • Grade A: Excellent condition. No major flaws, stains, or tears.
  • Grade B: Visible signs of wear—small holes, minor stains, or distressing. Great for upcycling or customers who love that true vintage vibe.
  • Grade C: Not included in our orders unless noted. These items are often recycled or used for upcycling.

Each of our bales weighs 100 lbs, but the number of items will vary depending on the type of product. This is because different clothing types vary in weight, material, and bulk — so no two bales will ever contain the exact same item count!

Here are some general estimates:

  • Jackets typically weigh 1–3 lbs each, so a 100 lb bale may contain approximately 30–100 jackets depending on the type of jacket bale ordered.
  • T-shirts average 3–5 shirts per lb, so a 100 lb bale may contain approximately 300–500 T-shirts.
  • Dresses average between 160- 225 pieces per bale.
  • Our bales are sold by the pound, not per piece. The actual number of pieces in your bale will vary based on the weight and type of clothing included and is an approximation only.

Our mixes include a natural distribution of sizes—generally S through XL—with fewer fringe sizes (XS or 1XL+). Size availability varies by category, but you’ll receive a blend reflective of what we commonly see in vintage sourcing.

We don’t currently offer customization on website orders—our pre-picked mixes and bales are packed by our expert team based on availability, ensuring quality, variety, offering you the best value.

That said, if you're looking for a more hands-on experience, we do offer handpicking options through in-person and virtual appointments (Business ID or reseller permit required):

In-Person Appointments (Los Angeles):
You select your own inventory from our warehouse.
• Minimum spend: $750
• $50 refundable deposit required to book
Virtual Appointments (via video call):
Our team walks you through a curated selection while you choose live.
• Minimum spend: $1,000
• $500 refundable deposit required to book

For buyers looking for ease and speed, our website inventory features curated mixes and bales that are competitively priced and ready to ship.

Standard Orders: 3–5 business days
Large Orders (3 + mixes): 7–14 business days

We ship Monday–Friday (excluding holidays). You’ll receive tracking info as soon as your order ships.

We use UPS, USPS and FedEx Standard and Economy shipping throughout the U.S. and Canada.

U.S. delivery: 5–8 business days
Canada: 6–10 business days

Shipping time begins after your order has been processed and depends on the shipping method selected at checkout.

Yes! For global customers, please note that import duties and taxes may apply depending on your country’s policies. LA Vintage is not responsible for these fees.

All sales are final—no exceptions. Due to the nature of vintage clothing, all items are sold “as-is,” we do not offer refunds or exchanges for reasons related to style, sizing, or general dissatisfaction.

That said, we stand behind the accuracy and integrity of every order. If you find a problem with your order please contact us within 72 hours of delivery. Our team will review your case quickly and fairly, and work with you to make it right. We’re committed to resolving any genuine errors quickly and fairly.

Because we start processing orders immediately, cancellations are not possible once your order is submitted.

We accept all major credit/debit cards and Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Paypal and Google Pay through our secure checkout. All payment info is encrypted and protected.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for fraudulent chargebacks. We provide detailed proof of fulfillment and reserve the right to pursue legal action in cases of abuse. If there’s an issue, please contact us—we’re here to help!
