LAV Finance 101–Investments in LAV Clothing Will Turn Into Priceless Assets!

In January, we introduced one of our most active customers, Koehler Lange, when he invested in our vintage pea coat. Since then, Koehler has made yet another purchase from LA Vintage. He recently added one of our Member Only Jackets to his vintage clothing wardrobe; an addition that would certainly make up an enticing outfit! Members Only Jackets are only one of the many styles of vintage coats LAV carries. Other styles include: vintage windbreakers, ski jackets, blazers, wool coats and more! Koehler – being the vintage fashion enthusiast he is – now sports a black Members Only Jacket; an investment from LAV that will prove to be an asset in his personal life!

Agyness Deyn Takes a Trip

Agyness, oh Agyness! You truly are one of our favorites! As many of you may know, the lovely Agyness Deyn took a stumble (or two) on the runway this past week at New York Fashion Week during a fundraiser show for the relief effort in Haiti put on by Naomi Campbell.

Although the stumble may not have been fun, we love Agyness because like a real woman (and let’s face it ladies- we have ALL taken a stumble or two in our sky high heels) she took to the fall with grace and laughter and reminded us that even supermodels are real people. Stumbles and all!

Besides being ever so graceful during her small slip up, Agyness is an absolute favorite here at LAV for her iconic style and retro vintage fashion sense.

We recently featured a trendy picture of one our young patron’s on our blog. Koehler Lange was completely delighted with his vintage buy, a black vintage coat from LAV. And we were overjoyed to connect with somebody who appreciates our vintage style. There would not have been a better way to seal this bond than a charming picture of Koehler sporting our vintage piece on our blog. This picture will surely go down our memory lane as LAV’s vintage pride.

Invest only in Quality Fashion and Fabric
Try not to fall prey to the world of ‘fast fashion’ which sucks you into the vicious cycle of buying, wearing and discarding. Invest in sustainable vintage fashion instead, which is stylish, longer-lasting and timeless.

Reuse, Recycle, & Reinvent
The green model of 3 R’s is our planet’s best friend. Scan your closet each time you feel a strong desire to buy something new. There is a possibility of you discovering many smart outfits hibernating in your closet, which have gone unnoticed due to their age or style. You don’t need to be a fashion designer to reinvent your good ole’ outfits. In fact, this is your chance to be creative with what you’ve got and stand out from the crowd!

Donate To Goodwill
Do your bit for the ones who are less fortunate by donating your old clothes, which otherwise are potential candidates for the landfills.
