We recently featured a trendy picture of one our young patron’s on our blog. Koehler Lange was completely delighted with his vintage buy, a black vintage coat from LAV. And we were overjoyed to connect with somebody who appreciates our vintage style. There would not have been a better way to seal this bond than a charming picture of Koehler sporting our vintage piece on our blog. This picture will surely go down our memory lane as LAV’s vintage pride.

We would love to post some more pictures of our fashionistas who have enjoyed posing for the lens with LAV’s vintage accessories. Please send us your picture in which you’re dressed in your favorite LAV vintage gear and get framed on our blog!

LA Vintage was delighted to receive genuine words of appreciation from an enthusiastic vintage fashion aficionado – Koehler Lange for his recent investment in a sharp black LAV pea coat with a stylish collar and metallic buttons. Koehler believes that the trendy coat adds a dash of romance to his personality. There’s no denying the irresistible ‘chocolate-boyish’ charm exuded by Koehler after donning on our vintage coat. Don’t take our word for it, the picture says it all.

The entire LAV team would like to thank Koehler for indulging in vintage fashion at LAV.

A stylish vintage coat never grows old with times. It does to a man what a “Little Black” vintage dress does to a lady. Nothing beats the pizzazz that is exuded by a slick vintage coat that makes even the dullest shirt look good and draws away attention from those not so impressive shoes. Let’s have a look at some of the popular vintage coats for men which are popular amongst the ladies!

Trench-Style Overcoat

Historically, these coats were designed to go over a gentleman’s outer clothing, mainly protecting him from cold weather. But over the years, the design of these coats has progressed to include myriad styles and colors. One of the most popular vintage styles that usually boast a belt, hailing from the cold regions of Europe and Scandinavia, this coat has come a long way. What better way to revive that super intelligent and witty Sherlock Homes look than investing in a chic trench-style overcoat?

Leather Coats

The indisputable companion of denims and motorcycle riders, are durable and ooze masculinity in a disarming way. Styles vary from bomber jackets to thigh-length “pimp” coats. Since leather is easy to dye, these coats can come in a variety of colors. Many leather coats come in a rich, natural brown or caramel color. But the in vogue style amongst the bikers is the black multi-zipped jacket. This is one accessory that bikers prefer to adorn their bikes with than the ladies!

Military Coats and Jackets

There is something about military coats and jackets which is relic yet modern. The quintessential military colors that vary from khaki to olive, drab to black, do not allow this coat to go out of style. The army jackets and coats often come with extra pockets, buttons, buckles, and doodads. Do we need to say that every man looks tough and rugged in a military jacket?

Vintage coat is certainly the vintage accessory that every man should possess. Girls, if you are dating a high maintenance dude you know what to gift him to match his impeccable taste. There are tons of vintage clothing sites that will help you find that polished vintage coat for your man!
