1. Stick With What You Got

The latest electronic gadgets lure you with their charming features. You land up succumbing to the sin “Extravagance” or “Lust” for luxury devices, by giving into the peer pressure. Surplus consumption of these fancy appliances leads to surplus production and emission of CO2. Work towards being eco-friendly by being satisfied with your good ol’ thingamajig and Stick With What You Got!

2. All-Consuming

The sin “Gluttony” leads to over-indulgence and buying new stuff at rapid speed, most of which is chucked out even before it gets completely utilized. The perishable items which are deemed to be thrown away, sit in your refrigerator till eternity, way past their expiry date. A lot of clothes bought, become ideal candidates for the landfills that are occupied with heaps of clothing which gets discarded every year. It is time to stop wasting and start All-Consuming. Yes, it is worth using that pencil to the very end, transform those unwanted bread ends into a delicious bread pudding, and recycle the old clothes in your closet!

3. Easy On The Meat

The habit of eating meat daily might seem harmless, but the way it gets processed harms the atmosphere. The enormous consumption of precious fossil fuels aggravates the global warming. Taking this serious fact into consideration, it’s wise to hold back the “Greed” for meat and go easy on it.

4. Walk The Walk

Achieve that distance which seems daunting without your car, with your two strong feet. Walk The Walk or Pedal The Pedal with more of your own steam power and less of machine power. Shake the “Sloth” from your body by burning off that unwanted fat and enjoy the sights around you which go unnoticed otherwise.

5. Stay Grounded

Every plane journey that you undertake dumps massive amounts of CO2 and other harmful greenhouse gases directly into the atmosphere. Find out greener alternatives to travel to your destination and stay grounded by letting go of your “Pride” of jetting around in the air.

6. Plug Out

Tune into your green quotient by plugging out those chargers, lights, and machines on stand-by. They relentlessly suck on your household power by compromising our environment. Pull out the voltaic “Wrath” from your homes for a greener turf!

7. Human Heat

An effective way to stop our planet from overheating is by under-heating our homes. Keeping those radiators and heaters off during the winter, results in saving a lot of energy. There are greener ways to keep you warm on those wintery days. Wrap yourself up in an insulated jumper or call your friends and neighbors over for a hot cup of coffee and your house will be warm in no time. Deriving warmth from human heat is certainly a worthy way to defeat the sin “Envy” from your system, or any other negative emotions which keep your friends at bay.
