In January, we introduced one of our most active customers, Koehler Lange, when he invested in our vintage pea coat. Since then, Koehler has made yet another purchase from LA Vintage. He recently added one of our Member Only Jackets to his vintage clothing wardrobe; an addition that would certainly make up an enticing outfit! Members Only Jackets are only one of the many styles of vintage coats LAV carries. Other styles include: vintage windbreakers, ski jackets, blazers, wool coats and more! Koehler – being the vintage fashion enthusiast he is – now sports a black Members Only Jacket; an investment from LAV that will prove to be an asset in his personal life!

Why Nelly Furtado Turned Down Playboy and Had a Breakdown

The daughter of Portuguese parents (who emigrated to Canada in the late Sixties), she made her breakthrough with the single I’m Like A Bird in 2000, and her genre-hopping debut album Whoa, Nelly! sold seven million copies. Now 30, she lives in Toronto with her husband and six-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. Her latest album, Mi Plan, is sung entirely in Spanish.

Britain rules the world.

I adore all things British. I can’t get enough of shopping for vintage clothes on Portobello Road and I love eating fish and chips in Liverpool. The best thing I’ve ever tasted was mango chutney from a Kensington market. Also, the British media make up the best stories about me; they always make me sound a lot more exciting than I really am. I read in one paper that at a music awards show in Copenhagen I was presented with a toilet that had an aquarium in the cistern. Totally untrue, sadly.

The Crazy Life of Rock’N'Roll Queen Courtney Love

We met in the afternoon at Geminola, her friend’s vintage shop. Lorraine Kirke does what Love calls upcycling: mixing bits of vintage clothes together. “I have been making ruffles out of old flannel shirts,” says Love. “I use the sewing machine like I play the guitar.” Scooping up lots of dresses, we get in her limo to ride round the corner to Kirke’s house. The limo driver wonders why she didn’t walk. That’s because she’s wearing 8in Louboutins. The driver is promptly fired. Love tells me the story of the Louboutins: she went to a shopaholics anonymous meeting. Only one. And one overeaters’ meeting. The latter worked; I’m not sure about the shopping one. They tell you to buy things in cash in small bills. She paid for the $900 shoes in $10 bills.

The ‘Pushing Daisies’ actress collects antique clothing, spending most of her spare time combing through vintage fairs and stores for old-fashioned garments, shoes, hats and sunglasses. The 33-year-old star – who is currently performing in the production of ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ on London’s West End – even has a collection of vintage fur coats she wears to impress the paparazzi. The brunette beauty said: ‘Now the paps are hanging around the stage door every night, I like to put on a lovely fur coat to leave the theatre. I’m as happy as a pig in sh*t in a vintage store!’

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart faced their public Wednesday — with a shopping trip to Retro Rock Vintage Clothing in Vancouver.

Which Project Runway Star Used to Scour the Vintage Stores?

She developed a clothing line showcasing her unique style, a mixture of vintage rockabilly and 1940s’ coquette, which she plans to show next month at New York’s Fashion Week. She began filming a new reality show, which follows the designer and her retinue (including publicist and personal attorney) around town. She built a Web site. And—oh yeah—she got into an epic, relationship-ending brawl one morning last spring, in which she allegedly hurled a number of items, including a cat, at her sleeping ex-fiancé and which led to her arrest and two days behind bars.

Scream Actor David Arquette Launches Vintage Inspired Clothing Line

You’ve seen it before. Celeb pals launch a clothing line, make press appearances and pose for pictures in front of a step, and repeat. Lately, it seems as if these things pop up once a week, and I’ve certainly become a bit cynical about a clothing line with a celebrity’s name behind it. But after spending some time with Ben Harper and David Arquette…
