To cap off our week-long tribute to Green Bloggers we would like to introduce to you Green Grechen of Grechen’s Closet. If you haven’t heard of her before you really should check out what she has to say and some of the great fashion advice she has to offer. Grechen is one of the motivating forces behind the Green movement in the fashion and vintage clothing worlds and we at LA Vintage would like to acknowledge and thank her for her efforts on behalf of our environment.

Grechen’s blog, www.greengrechen.com, is a forum to talk about eco-fashion and any other Green topics that come to mind. Her encouragement to her readers for an open dialogue has resulted in a diverse and informative blog that all of us with similar philosophies appreciate. The staff at LAV focuses on eliminating textile waste in landfills, we couldn’t imagine doing a tribute to Green bloggers without saying something nice about Grechen.

Reviewing the many Green Bloggers that we looked at this week has left us with a true sense of gratitude for all of those who choose to speak out on behalf of our environment and future generations who deserve something better. Each of the bloggers we have profiled this week has a unique style but they are all focusing on the same message: responsibility, conservation, and recycling to eliminate waste. That is the criteria that we used to select them for this weeks profiles and we hope that those of you who read these blogs for the first time will continue to follow them.

LA Vintage will continue to do our part in the fight for a cleaner environment. We sort through textile products each year that are designated for landfills and salvage them for our online vintage clothing store. You can read about our efforts here at this blog and we will make it a point to profile others who have similar endeavors.
