The Coachella Music and Art Festival is all set to rock your 2010! The annual event held in Indio, California that features multiple genres of music including alternative rock and hip-hop, brings to you this year some of the biggest music stars and rock groups including Gorillaz, Muse, Thom Yorke, MGMT, Hot Chip, Spoon, Vampire Weekend and LCD Soundsystem. The highlight of this music commemoration amidst the unique desert surroundings of the massive Colorado Desert is the live performance of the hip-hop mogul – Jay Z! You don’t want to miss this event for anything, so book your calendar for the 16th, 17th, 18th April 2010 weekend and put on your best attires to participate in this vibrant and extremely popular movie fest. Agyness Deyn Takes a Trip
Sunday, February 21st, 2010Agyness, oh Agyness! You truly are one of our favorites! As many of you may know, the lovely Agyness Deyn took a stumble (or two) on the runway this past week at New York Fashion Week during a fundraiser show for the relief effort in Haiti put on by Naomi Campbell.
Although the stumble may not have been fun, we love Agyness because like a real woman (and let’s face it ladies- we have ALL taken a stumble or two in our sky high heels) she took to the fall with grace and laughter and reminded us that even supermodels are real people. Stumbles and all!
Besides being ever so graceful during her small slip up, Agyness is an absolute favorite here at LAV for her iconic style and retro vintage fashion sense.

The world of fashion has just lost one of its greats, the brilliant mind and spirit of Alexander McQueen.
Fashion designer Alexander McQueen was found dead at his London home at the age of 40. The brilliant, yet controversial fashion designer took his place in the upper-echelon of fashion designers with his wide array of fashion designs that were described as being distinctive, dramatic, different and perfect for red carpet presentations or late-night rock gatherings.
He was not just a designer, but an inspiration and true innovator in the world of fashion. His mark in this world will not be forgotten.
You will be missed, Mr. McQueen.
